A truly remarkable Quantum Journey! An amazing book that interweaves other dimensions defined by space, time, and state of being. A fascinating connection between humanity and AI. I am very anxious for the future release of book 3 in this trilogy. Once it is available, I will certainly reread book one (Thing:First Contact) and book two (Thing: Between Two Worlds) so as to relive this adventure as it moves along on its Quantum journey.

5.0 out of 5 stars Masterful. A must read! A riveting, inspiring page turner. Science fiction, philosophy, faith and the human condition woven into a tapestry of art and food for thought.

Science fiction for this era. Science fiction has long been valuable for helping us understand the human condition. "Thing: First Contact" updates this value by illuminating emerging philosophical and existential issues. Kendall Williams has crafted a story that allows us a glimpse of collective, unembodied consciousness and the possible origin of important cultural myths. A fascinating read for anyone interested in who we are as human beings and where we may be going, and all told as a great adventure story as well.
